D365FO – Enable “Records to include” in Electronic Reporting

Are you developing an ER Report but when you try to execute it you can’t find the “Records to include” tab? (picture below)

Answer is simple! When you created the data source you forgot to enable the “Ask for Query” checkbox (picture below)

So now return to your data source and change this parameter.

You can reach it by going into your ER report and click on Designer button

Now click on “Map model to datasource”

Click on “Designer”

Select your data source and click on “Edit”

Enable “Ask for Query”

And magically “Records to include” will appear
